January 2011
Having year six withdrawals!
I love...
- Greek yoghurt
- stopping for refreshments on the way to a destination
- leaving for a holiday while it’s still dark
- pushing your body that fraction harder when exercising and surviving! (getting fitter in other words)
- Thai or Indian with close friends and a bottle (or two) of red
- primary school afternoons where you got all your homework done Monday so as to veg out every other...
Current pet hates
- Boys that are nothing but torsos (some depth would be nice, thanks), and this is directed at two of them in particular
- Lethargy (been so lethargic lately; it prevents me from being more productive)
- Loveless marriages (I see it every day; I live with it). Thankfully times have changed and women in their twenties are no longer potential ‘old maids’ with domestic limits
-...
An unfinished list of childhood memories
* Christmas lunch with the family - Never too flash in the Chant household (merely a ‘cold lunch’), but made special with the company, and carols playing in the background
* Harrington Beach cove - For a period of no more than 3 years, there was a shallow water inlet beside the break wall. Jordie and I used to splash around in it.
* Fantasy Glades - You don’t need money to have...
A-Z of me (pinched from Jaime)
A - Age
20
B - Bed size
At Nan’s, double
C - Chore you hate
Making bed (even though I prefer it made), and folding clothes (it’s time-consuming, and frustrating because i’m such a perfectionist!)
D - Dog’s name
I don’t have a dog. The one dog I’ve had was actually Nan’s, but felt like ours - her name was Sally.
E - Essential start your day items...
Definitely treating myself to red wine and dark chocolate when I get ‘home’. Probably copious amounts of the latter :S

So without further ado: Yes, I enjoy Rhianna’s ‘Only Girl (In the World)’.
Ha. Looking back, I definitely didn’t play it properly.
I would’ve seemed more keen than I actually was. Due to being drunk. :/
2011
I am immensely excited for the convoy of 21st birthday parties that is to be my year 2011!
I definitely want to go to Harrington before uni goes back. I owe it to Nan and Pop, and I owe it to my wistful, childhood-clutching heart.
Harrington is certainly a staple in the collection of memories I have of my childhood. Even though it has vastly changed - vastly developed - from the isolated community with just a beach, a pub, a general store, a fish and chip shop and a few makeshift but...
I was initially going to go to Woolworths and purchase an iTunes voucher, with which to download some dancey music and Mean Girls. I love to dance (preferably in a social situation, but also by myself), and what would make more sense than to have one of my favourite films at my disposal, to watch on this neat screen.
But after starting my journey to Subiaco (the city next to Mum’s, where I...
